My role as a counselor is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions. I aim to create trust and openness in our therapeutic relationship. As a dedicated professional counseling intern, my passion lies in helping individuals navigate their personal challenges and discover their inner strengths. I enjoy incorporating play into sessions as play offers a unique and natural form of expression which allows clients to communicate emotions and experiences that may be difficult to verbalize.

My approach to counseling is deeply rooted in emphasizing the importance of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and a genuine therapeutic relationship. Also, through incorporating the use of play, I aim to help clients process their feelings, develop problem-solving skills, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves in a safe, creative space. I specialize in working with children, teens, adolescents and young adults that are struggling with difficult emotions and feeling “stuck” in life. I like to provide a space where clients can freely express their thoughts, feelings, and frustrations and give the opportunity to release emotions through a variety of methods. Each method is tailored to the client’s unique needs and preferences which can help process difficult feelings and work towards healing. My hope during a therapy session is to provide a deep, emotional release with focus on healing and growth.

I am committed to fostering authentic relationships with clients and promoting their well-being through compassionate, client-centered care. I am committed to making our sessions feel like a safe space. I am excited to grow as a professional and contribute as a helping hand in your healing journey!

I enjoy a variety of different activities in my free time. In no particular order, things I like to do most; taking naps, hanging out with my dog, trying new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, skiing in the winter, being around the pool in the summer, watching movies and binging T.V. series.
