I like to consider therapy as training wheels on a bike to support the client until they can ride a bike independently. What I mean by this is, as a therapist, I am here to support you and help guide you in the right direction. However, you are the leader and must put in the effort to be successful.

There is no "one size fits all". I have an integrative and holistic approach and focus on tailoring to the client’s unique needs, experiences, and backgrounds. My goal is to provide you with a safe space to heal and develop the necessary tools so that you may become independent again. My work with you will be collaborative, gentle but realistic, sometimes direct when necessary, and personable. Instead of thinking “more positive” I help clients think “more neutral” because sometimes there is no “bright side” to a situation. This means having a realistic and objective perspective by identifying factual information. I want you to live your best life and receive support that meets your specific needs, whether that means working with me or someone else who can best support you.

I recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health in Counseling. I enjoy playing video games, hiking, spending time with loved ones, and my pitbull mix. I really love dogs and have experience working with therapy dogs as well. My future goal is to adopt a dog and train it to be my therapy dog that works with me in therapy sessions.
