Welcome to your therapy adventure! You are taking an exciting step into the mysterious landscape of
yourself. Maybe you know why you are looking for a healing partner. Maybe you simply have a sense
that something needs to change. However you arrive, you already have the innate wisdom you need to
start this journey. A skilled and devoted guide can help you navigate towards what eludes you. You’ll
want that guide to know the territory firsthand. To be trustworthy, accepting, and genuine. I am ready
to serve as your guide and fellow traveler.

We will duck through the layers of your past and present using an array of tools and techniques, inviting
your unique sense of purpose to emerge. Your fulfillment will be our compass point. You will decide
what we work on, and the pace we work. We will stay focused on your goals, and I am accountable for
moving you closer to the experience you seek.

Being human equals feeling pain, fear, loss, anger. Learning to bend gracefully in their presence, but not
to break, is to cultivate a new relationship with suffering. The reward is a self more alert to beauty and
magic, open to what comes, and prepared to fully be there. For that, we need tools to build resilience: a
real-time, adaptive posture for living our lives with tenderness and resolve. You will acquire, and
practice, with these tools.

My drive for deep, meaningful connection has led me to roles as writer, teacher, architect, builder,
advocate, and now, counselor. Currently I am finishing my Masters in the Mindfulness-Based
Transpersonal Counseling Program at Naropa University.

Away from work, you might find me on a forest path, wading creeks, cooking with friends, rockin out at
a live show, making jewelry with found objects, or tinkering with my old Ford. Most always there’s a dog
nearby.
