Alexandra JosfanMarriage and Family Therapy Intern
Location: Westminster, COAppointment Types: In-Person • Telehealth - Colorado

Hi, I’m Alexandra. I am completing my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I approach therapy with warmth, creativity, and deep curiosity about the patterns that shape our lives and relationships. I’m especially attuned to the underlying needs we all share—to be loved, appreciated, and understood— and how those desires show up in our bodies and relationships. I conceptualize people as whole beings, not just brains. I work from an integrative lens that honors the body, attachment history, culture, and lived experience.
I work with couples, families, individuals, teens, and children. I have completed an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) externship, which informs my work around attachment, emotional functioning, and relational patterns. I welcome a wide range of identities and relationship configurations. Rather than prescribing what relationships or families should look like, I’m interested in helping you understand what matters most to you and how to move toward greater connection and compassion.
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by curiosity and my own wandering—across disciplines such as language and biology, and across countries and states in a deep exploration of what it means to be human. Outside the therapy room, I’m an avid ceramicist and love hiking, water activities, snowboarding, dancing, gardening, cooking, and gathering friends around a table. These creative and relational parts of my life keep me grounded and inform how I show up as a therapist: present, playful, and collaborative.
