Being human is messy and we all struggle at times, you are not alone! Embarking on a journey of self-discovery and healing can feel intimidating, which is why finding a trusted helper matters. I believe that my clients are the experts of their own experiences and that therapy should be individualized to their needs and worldview. I place importance on creating space for my clients to feel their emotions, express themselves authentically, accept themselves fully, and explore their change process, through a kind, supportive, and empathic relationship. In my practice, I tend to draw from a variety of approaches, including EMDR, humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, compassion focused, and mindfulness- and acceptance-based modalities. I help my clients navigate the human experience and issues related to trauma, stress management, life transitions, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, identity, and LGBTQIA+ concerns.

I find deep satisfaction in supporting my clients’ personal growth, helping them clarify and work towards their goals, and providing them with critical mental health services. I received my BS in Psychology from the University of Texas and MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Denver. I have experience working with a wide range of populations, providing individual and group therapy for college students and adults, working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, and providing treatment for individuals struggling with addiction. Being raised in Colorado, I value our natural environment and its splendors. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my partner, friends, and family, seeking out creative experiences, being involved in the LGBTQIA+ community, traveling, cooking, and giving all the pets to my pup. I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your journey!
