Hi! I'm glad you are here today! Thank you for being with me, even if it's just for just a short moment! My name is Gem Leone (They/Them), and I am a multi-minority, mental health therapist working with kids and adults in Colorado. As a mental health provider, I prioritize the autonomy and dignity of all my clients regardless of age, gender, race, or background. This value drives my belief in using a person-centered approach in therapy, which allows, you, the client, to be the driving force in your own treatment. In my supporting role as a therapist, I may also incorporate directive skills from modalities like CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and IFS to address each individual's specific needs or goals.

Outside of my work, I share a home with my cat, Magnolia, and dog, Suki. Both of my pets (yes, even the cat) are trained to do tricks! Aside from spending time with my pets, I can also be found writing poetry, drawing, or making jewelry!

My Licensing & Academic Qualifications: I am currently working as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with direct clinical supervision. My educational background includes gaining a B.A. in Psychology and Master of Social Work from the University of Denver from 2021 to 2025.
