Welcome! My name is Joyce and I am a clinical social worker and fellow human. My goal as your therapist is to collaboratively develop a relationship built on compassion and authenticity so we can understand your unique needs, values, and motivations in the present moment and identify the direction in which you’d like to grow or heal. My approach to therapy is informed by the current neurobiological conceptualization of trauma and healing, utilizing interventions from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative, Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused, and Strength-based modalities (with a dash of humor for good measure).

A native of Massachusetts, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northeastern University and recently graduated from Boston College with my Master’s in Clinical Social Work with a concentration in Trauma-Informed Mental Health. In my free time I love to create art in a variety of mediums, read, hike, garden, and spend time with loved ones.
