Hi, my name is Kelsey and I am a Master's level intern studying Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. I can't wait to collaborate together to help you meet your goals in therapy! Having spent years on my own personal growth, I can understand the many ups and downs that life has to offer. Sometimes we can feel stuck alone and overwhelmed, but I believe knowing you are not alone is a wonderful foundation to begin healing. I believe that there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. My approach is strength-based and client-centered, utilizing a variety of modalities to help you reach your goals. My goal is to create a safe space that fosters growth and allows you to feel empowered and understood. I am originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and I recently moved to Colorado to be closer to nature and pursue my Master's degree. I received my Bachelor's degree in Humanities from Florida State University. I've worked with LGBTQIA+ youth at the Fort Lauderdale Pride Center to address a variety of relational concerns. When I'm out of the office and not working on schoolwork, I love to hike, read, go to shows, and spend time with my dog! I look forward to meeting you and working towards your goals!
