Hi, I'm Sarah Prater, a therapist who works with children, tweens/teens, adults, individuals, couples, and families. With children, I use child-centered play therapy to help them express themselves in ways that feel natural and safe. For older clients, I draw from a blend of narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support healing, growth, and meaningful change.

I believe therapy should be a collaborative, empowering experience, and I strive to create a warm and engaging environment where every client feels seen and supported. I work alongside clients to build on their strengths, foster resilience, and navigate challenges with curiosity, compassion, and confidence.

Originally from a small town in Ohio, I moved to Colorado in 2019 and have loved calling it home ever since. Outside the office, I enjoy hiking, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and playing games with friends and family.
